Metro Line B Faces Major Delays in Mexico City

Users of the Mexico City Metro express their annoyance at the slowness on Line B, where trains remain stopped for 10 minutes at each station. This situation has generated various complaints on social media, where users are asking for alternative mobility options and to expedite the service to avoid constant delays.

Some complaints mention that Line B experiences frequent delays without a clear justification, affecting users who rely on this means of transport to reach their destinations. After the mandatory day off for Labor Day, service is expected to normalize, allowing students and workers to move more smoothly.

To avoid setbacks, users of Line B are advised to consider possible delays of up to several minutes when boarding a train. Additionally, a high influx is reported at various Metro stations, especially on lines 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, and 12, where the wait to board a train can be up to 7 minutes.

On the other hand, on the morning of Friday, May 2, it was reported that Line 4 of the Metro was operating with moderate influx and wait times of approximately 4 minutes. Continuous service failures have raised questions about the reasons behind the slowness and the lengthy waiting periods, such as the reported 45 minutes from Ecatepec to Tepito.
